This record group consists of selected administrative correspondence of the Michigan Department of Conservation, Fish Division for the years 1952-56, 1960, and 1962. Mainly copies of memoranda out to regional supervisors of hatchery operations relating to general administration, personnel, policy, budget, work assignment and accomplishment. Other subjects include hatchery research, pollution, lake and stream improvement, spawn taking, and watershed studies. Also includes memoranda, reports, and statistical statements relating to fish food experiments (1952-54).
